Why Verimi?
High security:
Verimi uses extra secure encryption technology while integrating the secure local storage on your smartphone. For example, the Verimi platform has been assessed by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) to also store confidential ID card data and to provide it for you in digital processes at the secure trust level "substantial", which is also applied to the user accounts of the public administration. This proven security architecture serves as a basis for your digital COVID Pass at Verimi.
Protection of your privacy:
Verimi does not market user data or health data. Your data will only be transferred after your explicit approval, in the respective application, for the respective purpose and under the conditions of data protection. Verimi stands for this with its guidelines.
Simple use:
You want to use different devices, switch between devices or have lost your device? No problem. Your digital COVID Pass can be used from most devices with your secure personal login and does not need to be digitally uploaded again for these cases.
Personal access:
Like in a safe deposit box, you store your data with Verimi in an extra secure way. Your data is encrypted for you and only you have access to it. You can conveniently secure your proof of vaccination or COVID-19 status with a 2nd factor or via touch or face ID.
How easy is it?
Step 1:
Login or download the Verimi app and register.
Step 2:
Scan the QR code you received with your vaccination, after overcoming a COVID-19 infection, or after a recent COVID-19 test in the Verimi app.
Step 3:
Verimi creates your personal COVID Pass in your Verimi app and makes it available for you at any time.
Step 4:
Optionally, you can connect your COVID Pass to your identity via the "Match identity" button, making it easier for you to provide proof everyday.
Is the COVID Pass accepted everywhere?
Yes. Since we rely on the official infrastructure of the Federal Ministry of Health your personal Verimi COVID Pass is accepted wherever the official proof of vaccination can be used.
What is behind the COVID Pass at Verimi?
The Verimi service is based on standards developed for the EU Digital COVID Certificate and the CovPass solution commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Health.
Do I also need to use other apps, e. g. the Corona-Warn-App?
Verimi offers the possibility to have your personal proof of vaccination or COVID-19 status document in a digital COVID Pass always and safely with you. Besides Verimi, there are other offers in the market. The special feature of Verimi is the high level of data security with optional 2-factor authentication or the possibility of using the COVID Pass across devices. In addition, Verimi is the first provider in Germany that connects your verified ID data to your COVID Pass.
Can I also use the COVID Pass digitally online?
Yes, Verimi also enables the digital proof of vaccination or COVID-19 status in online applications. Talks are currently being held with interested partners. We will inform users as soon as the COVID Pass may be used with the first platforms. We have enabled the registration function for this in the app.
Can I connect my ID card to the COVID-19 status on Verimi?
Yes, from now on you can verify your identity document (e.g. ID card, passport, electronic residence permit) via eID-, Verimi Bank-, Foto- or Video-Ident and connect it to your COVID Pass. This can enable you to prove that it is indeed your personal COVID Pass.
